【名詞的性】
俄文名詞可以依字尾不同分成陽、陰、中性，但這樣的區別除了動物之外沒有甚麼特別的意義。

陽性：所有子音及Й結尾的字
陰性：字尾為А或Я
中性：字尾為О或Е

※例外一
人與動物只有陰陽性之分。

※例外二
若字尾為а、я，但該人物是男性，則該名詞仍為陽性。
